Role Overview
As the Director of Operations, you’ll play a pivotal role in laying the groundwork for our success. Your mission is to hire, train, and lead a high-performing team while driving operational excellence and ensuring alignment with our company’s goals. You’ll be responsible for building out your regional team from scratch, developing training materials, and creating a culture of success and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Building: Take ownership of recruiting, hiring, and onboarding Team Leaders and staff across your region.
- Training Development: Create training materials and programs that align with company standards and equip staff with the tools to succeed.
- Leadership: Train and mentor Team Leaders, empowering them to effectively lead their state-level teams.
- Strategic Execution: Design and implement operational strategies to ensure your region’s success, in line with the company’s vision.
- Performance Management: Set quotas, monitor progress, and implement strategies to meet and exceed goals.
- Compliance & Structure: Ensure that your region adheres to all company policies and regional regulations. Develop processes to streamline operations.
- Culture Building: Foster an engaging and collaborative work environment that reflects our core values and encourages growth, innovation, and teamwork.
- Collaboration: Work closely with company leadership to share progress, insights, and best practices as we grow together.
Qualifications
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Excited about joining a start-up and contributing to the creation of a successful company from the ground up.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in operations, sales, or regional management. Prior experience in lending, finance, or building teams is a plus.
- Leadership: Proven ability to recruit, train, and inspire teams to achieve outstanding results.
- Strategic Thinking: Capable of developing and executing operational plans to achieve regional goals.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse teams.
- Adaptability: Comfortable navigating the challenges and opportunities of a start-up environment.
- Problem-Solving: Skilled at identifying challenges and finding creative, effective solutions.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in using technology to streamline operations and manage teams.
