Role Overview

Commercial Loan Officer will play a pivotal role in securing funding solutions for businesses within their community. This role focuses on building relationships with local businesses, identifying funding opportunities, and delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and engage potential clients through networking, outreach, and community involvement.
  • Consultative Sales: Understand clients’ needs and recommend tailored funding solutions to support their growth and success.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers within your territory.
  • Funding Expertise: Facilitate the loan application process, guide clients through funding options, and collaborate with underwriters to secure approvals.
  • Company Ambassador: Represent the company in your local market by attending events, fostering partnerships, and promoting our mission.
  • Sales Goals: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, contributing to the overall success of your team and region.
  • Training and Collaboration: Participate in sales training, share best practices, and contribute to a positive, goal-driven team culture.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business lending, financial services, or a related sales role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding goals.
  • Familiarity with the business loan application process and funding options is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
